Extensions, Conversions and Alterations.

You should choose HOKO to redesign your home, here’s why: we take care of everything; the design, planning permission, interior design and finding a builder. We’re homeowner Architects, which means we only work with people just like you! We have worked on over 1000 home alteration, conversion, and home extension projects – we know how to design a dream home. That’s enough about us, get in touch, we want to know all about you!

Some Valuable Advice:

If you’re starting this process with a bit of an idea of what you want, but no clue about how much it might cost, you are not alone! The best way to tackle a renovation project is to break the overwhelming number of decisions down into manageable chunks, then assess costs as you go through the various levels of detail. If you can see what the end result will look like and have a cost associated to this design that you can live with, you won’t go far wrong.

What Our Clients Think

Our Founder

Danny Campbell

Danny is a registered Architect and the Founder of HOKO. His obsession for home renovations and extensions has seen HOKO grow to become the market leader in Scotland. He was awarded The Great British Entrepreneur of the Year Award alongside his role as a judge on the hit BBC TV show; Scotland’s Home Of The Year. He absolutely loves home renovations, working with real people and creative, budget-friendly design solutions. Outside of work Danny has three young sons and enjoys living an active and healthy lifestyle.

During his education, Danny Campbell realised that traditional architecture was failing many homeowners. With limited options for homeowner-focussed architectural services, and inconsistent delivery and results he knew that the status quo had to change. He started HOKO with one goal – to shake up architecture by doing things differently! We’re all about breaking the rules and taking on new challenges. Our experienced team strive for consistency in every project and believes that homeowners should be able to enjoy their own unique design vision without the uncertainty and stress of a traditional home improvement project.

One of our core beliefs is that every client should have the opportunity to fully understand the costs of their project before committing. That’s why we offer a unique service which tells you what your design will look like and how much it’ll cost, for the smallest investment possible and no obligation to proceed after
